Beach Vibes
This was an experimental project where I was playing with the different lighting settings to be able to create a "beach vibe." I wanted to create a relaxing, realistic, and beautiful scene. I used only free assets in this scene and I think that it turned out pretty cool for a basic experimental projects.

The Ancient Tomb
This was a personal project I completed inside of Unreal Engine 5 where I played around with different Fab assets. I really liked the aesthetic of the rounded arch and the rectangular arch so I just decided to do two different renders.
Building this environment was a bit challenging. I had to make sure all of the different Fab assets fit the vision that I had for this landscape while looking appropriate in deep fog. My main goal was to create a sense of mystery. It was hard to balance the deep fog and the lighting. I learned that having additional lighting besides the main directional light can be beneficial.

At the University of Tampa I took a Game Design and Development course – the first game design course ever offered at the university. Although this was really cool to be a part of, no one knew anything about Unreal Engine 4...including my professor.
That being said, this was an extremely challenging course. I had an ambitious vision of the game I wanted to create– a multi-level game using multiple assets. I watched countless YouTube videos and spent months in the computer lab building, learning, fixing, and creating. I learned about level design, how to build an inventory, marketplace assets, loading screens, character integration, and much more. Not only did I learn all about Unreal Engine 4, but I also learned that I have an extreme passion for game development and design.
My game I created was presented at the University of Tampa's 65 years in the Making Visual Arts Exhibition from August 2021 to August 2022. It was displayed at the Ferman Center for the Arts Student Gallery for any student, visitor, or guest to watch.
